Red bulls with sickly thick sugary-sweet
Syrup at the all-ages show, you and me armed with
Plastic film canisters filled with cheap vodka from
Cheap plastic bottles, an emblem of St. Basil’s
Cathedral wears as we stray from it, burn the
Proof, our letters and our fingertips, sprouting wings and
Baptized in sludge, stuck together eternally.
A collage of
What my parents find
Cleaning out my childhood
Closet–I beg you
To alchemize me
Into something less simple.
